Journey

1. Harvest in Sidama

   Ripe red cherries are hand-picked by 1,140 smallholder families at 1,900-2,200 m.

2. Washing station and dry mill

   Cherries are pulped, fermented for 36 hours, dried on raised beds for 12 days, then hulled and graded.

3. Shipping to Felixstowe

   GrainPro-lined jute sacks travel by container from Djibouti and Buenaventura to Felixstowe.

4. Roasting in Bristol

   Roasted in 15 kg batches, rested for 48 hours, packed in recyclable mono-material bags with a one-way valve.
