Washed and natural lots are processed separately and dried on African beds under shade nets.
- Dry mill and export grading, Addis Ababa
Parchment is hulled, graded by screen size and density, hand-sorted and packed in GrainPro-lined jute sacks.
- Sea freight Djibouti - Naples
Containers go by rail from Addis Ababa to Djibouti and by sea through Suez to the Port of Naples (about 24 days).
- Customs and EUDR check, Port of Naples
The importer clears customs, checks the due-diligence statement reference for every lot and samples each container.
- Slow roasting in Naples
Each origin is drum-roasted separately for 16-18 minutes, cooled in air and rested before blending.
